WAVES IN THE HUDDLE WITH THE DALLAS COWBOYS
Dallas, Texas: On Sunday, June 14, over 100 alumni attended the seventh annual Dallas Waves Fiesta. At this year’s Fiesta, the Waves got a behind-the-scenes look at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The evening included a VIP stadium tour, field-level access, and University updates from provost Rick Marrs, School of Law dean Deanell Tacha, and senior vice chancellor Sara Jackson. Special thanks to Seaver College alumnus Tyler Potts (‘13) for helping arrange both events.
DALLAS COWBOYS TRAINING CAMP VIP EXPERIENCE
Oxnard, California: When the Cowboys traveled west, Waves followed. Pepperdine alumni, family, and friends scored a Dallas Cowboys Training Camp VIP Experience on Friday, August 21, that included a reserved viewing section at practice, a behind-the-scenes private tour of the training camp grounds, and “chalk talk” with Bryan Broaddus, former scout and DallasCowboys.com writer. Waves also had the opportunity to take photos with players and get autographs.
STEP FORWARD DAY: SEPTEMBER 12, 2015
Waves around the world joined forces on Saturday, September 12, to give back to their local communities for the 27th annual Step Forward Day. Hundreds of Pepperdine alumni served in a total of 28 projects in the United States and Japan. Step Forward Day projects included organizing food donations, landscaping, harvesting produce, preparing meals, and serving the homeless.
